There's real people behind this computer and your spiritual growth and happiness is our priority!

Gospel Gifts opened its doors to Charlotte County residents in 1979. This year we celebrate our 30th Anniversary! Owners Jim and Joan Stevens, retired here from New York and built this ministry to serve their neighbors. Over the years, some of their children have also made the move to sunny SW Florida and partnered in the Gospel Gifts ministry. In April 2006, Jim Stevens was called home to be with the Lord. A pillar within the local community and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is deeply missed; however, his ministry, Gospel Gifts, continues in his honor through his family. Today, the staff of the store includes his wife Joan, their daughter Sherry, their son-in-law Jeff, their grandchildren Kristen and Matthew, as well as Kristen's husband Matt (in fact, you may even see a great-grandchild or two running about!).

Gospel Gifts truly is a family owned and operated ministry and we are blessed daily by our work here. Over the last three decades many people have come through our store and many have shared a special story with us about their experiences here at Gospel Gifts. Like the young mother who brings her children in shopping and can remember when her own mother brought her to the store when she was a little girl! Or like the friends that have run into each other at the store and stopped to pray together during a difficult time in their lives. So many special "Gospel Gifts stories" have come through and our family feels very connected to our community and blessed by the opportunity to serve them. You are all members of our extended family and we are here to help you have a deep and powerful, life-altering relationship with Jesus - and each other!
