Missions Trip to Brazil - Prayer Requests | | Prayer is requested for a small group of individuals from Fort Ogden Baptist who are partnering with the International Missions Board based out of Hull, Alabama for a missions trip to the mouth of the Amazon in Brazil. They will be building a church there over a nine day mission trip. This will be the 208th church built by the International Missions Board. Prayer Requests | | A family member of someone in Port Charlotte is asking for prayer that his employers would have wisdom and discernment in a recent misunderstanding that could possibly result in termination. We pray that the Lords will be done in this situation, that it has a swift resolution, that the family is protected, and for Gods Peace and Strength as they go through this trial. | | Financial Provision . Prayer Requests | | A family in Port Charlotte is asking for prayer for financial provision. The husband and father was injured in an automobile accident a couple months ago. He is unable to work and will not be able to return to work in the near future. His family is struggling and it could take months before I final settlement comes from the liable partys insurance company. Pray for Gods provision and the husbands healing as well as strength and peace for the family. |

Prayers for Meikah Heatons Family . Prayer Requests | | Little baby, Meikah Heaton, who needed your help raising money for a liver transplant, went home to be with the Lord this week. She received the necessary liver surgery and began improving immediately; however, complications from the surgery resulted in more surgeries being required. Little Meikah became the "daughter" of Charlotte County as we all rallied around her and we are saddened by her passing but joyful in knowing she is home with the Lord. Please keep her family in your prayers. Memorial service information has not yet been posted. Updated July 30, 2009 |
